Thesis Orals Exhibition Week Two

April 8, 2015 to April 12, 2015
Opening Reception WED APR 8 | 4-6pm

Students in the college’s BFA, Certificate and Post-Baccalaureate Programs spend their final year perfecting their craft in the creation of an original body of work that reflects their personal and conceptual ideas, and finely tuned craftsmanship. This entire learning experience culminates in the exhibition of their work.

Please join us this afternoon for the opening of Thesis Orals Week Two in the Hoffman Gallery 4pm – 6pm showing the work of:

Oregon College of Art and Craft (OCAC) celebrates the 20th year of its annual auction gala, Art on the Vine 2015.  This highly anticipated event takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2015, and will be held at the Pure + Flex Space located in Northwest Portland’s Pearl District – 1315 NW Overton Street.  Attended by 500 patrons, artists, gallerists and community leaders from across the Northwest, this event offers guests an evening filled with art, wine, food and friends. The evening begins at 5:30pm.   

Proceeds from Art on the Vine support scholarship funding for OCAC’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Craft students and for children, youth and teens attending the Jordan Schnitzer Family Art Adventures Camps. 

The evening will include the Silent Auction of over 100 works of art and 40 diverse wine packages, and the Live Auction which will showcase outstanding works of art, “Art of Living” cultural experience packages, and special entertainment – all while enjoying a gourmand’s dinner created exclusively for the evening.
